Nikolaus stands a little short of 6' and has shown indirectly of a toned, athletic form [at least, to those paying attention as he tossed himself on and over a cart, then smoothly stabbed Mr. Greasepaint in the back...]. He has light brown hair that currently is trimmed fairly short. His green eyes sit in the middle of a tan, well-travelled face. He appears to be in his mid-twenties, though could be anywhere from 20 to 30 [and his appearance has subtly shifted across that range so far...].

His features would likely be categorized as somewhat attractive, though not strikingly so. He commonly wears a disarming, good-natured smile that is usually framed with some form of facial hair [a moustache and goatee at first, more recently just a moustache].

He is known to have an arc-shaped scar above his right ear on the side of his head [close examination by someone of Quinn's background might suggest that it's from being hit upside the head with a bottle].

He seems to be fond of knives, and has shown himself to be an accomplished knife-thrower. He also has been known to carry a quarterstaff, though recently switched to a short sword [as it's more fitting a commander].

He normally dresses as either an average traveller, or occasionally with the garb of a moderately (but not overly) successful trader.

Nikolaus retired from the hazardous life of an adventurer years ago. Making the best of a bad situation, he purchased several city blocks in Whitehall after they had been burned to the ground in a battle with the traitorous members of the Wizard Council. In the years since then, he has amassed a small fortune from his ever-increasing holdings in town, as well as his far-flung trading endevours.
